Synopsis

"Hot Spot" is a "local alien human comedy" set in a town in Yamanashi Prefecture at the foot of Mount Fuji, Japan's pride. The protagonist, Kiyomi Endo (41), a single mother who works at a business hotel, meets an alien by chance one day. Having experienced the bitter and sweet sides of life, Kiyomi asks the alien to solve minor incidents in her work and personal life without upsetting the alien.
