Synopsis
Japan in the near future suffers an unexplained major disaster. Five years later, reconstruction is well underway. The series is a prequel to Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy manga series, depicting the events up until the birth of "Astro Boy". Opening Theme "Kaidoku Funou" is performed by After the Rain". Ending Theme "Hikari no Hajimari" is performed by Yoshino Nanjou.
