Oren Peli

Oren Peli (born January 21, 1970) is an Israeli filmmaker. He is best known for directing horror films such as Paranormal Activity (2007) and Area 51 (2015). He is also a producer on the Paranormal Activity and Insidious film franchises as well as producing Chernobyl Diaries (2012), The Lords of... Salem (2012) and The Bay (2012). He is the founder of production company Solana Films.
