Synopsis

They were Tamil Tiger fighters – voluntarily or forcibly recruited –, civil victims of attacks, or displaced. A documentary film about women in the Sri-Lankan civil war, their traumas and the blending of perpetrator and victim situation. Five women from the feuding groups – the Tamils, Sinhalese, and the Muslims, two them now living in Switzerland – reflect about their experiences in the war, their traumas and their hopes.
