Synopsis

During the COVID lockdown, Soderbergh wrote a sequel to his debut movie that focuses on the sisters Ann and Cynthia, and finds Cynthia trying to reconnect with her daughter, who is about to get married. However, despite getting Andie MacDowell and Laura San Giacomo to agree to reprise their roles, Soderbergh now thinks he will turn it into a novel instead, saying of his script, “It doesn’t feel as of-the-moment as it did.” — Variety
