Synopsis

In the summer of 2021, Cementa’s permit application for limestone quarrying on the island Gotland was refused and the company was thrust into public debate. In a documentary highlighting incompatible perspectives, the living conditions of the future are pitted against the present, the aquafer against job opportunities.
